1. Pavers completed at Lydias on Saturday

2. Publicity meeting with Naomi regarding flyers & brief for Pav Paradise.

3. Dahlias have been checked over by Linda Brown from Dahlia Haven who says that the Barbara Kappler have a mineral deficiency - dose with epsom salts, which we have done, and await the miraculous result eagerly. If no improvement in the leaf colouration it is still possible that they have a virus in which case ....!

4. Construction phase is nearing completion. Kelvin and I completed the framework for the long planter after a frustrating morning collecting materials. Still to do in the construction area:

• lots of sanding
• paint & stain wall panels & deck
• complete panels for planters

5. Lydia off on a seek and find expedition:

• Kowhai prostrata - the lawn mower man chomped the ends of three plants
• Carex virgata as Chionochloa in the size required is just not available
• Dainella nigra in pb3 for foliage filler around the low edges
• tiles for long planter - possible sponsorship
• lawn for Pav Para - many thanks to Ready Lawn for sponsorship
• wire strop for Black Landscapes
